73 Cougar custom

I started this custom a couple of years ago and decided to finally complete it. I generally like the Cougar body style but  I think the 71-72 with the slimmer front bumper and symetrical center grill section looks much better. Unfortuneatly the earlier versions are too expensive if you can find them, so I decided to fix the 73. I wanted the grill to float with the lower panel to mirror the hood and upper fender edges. I have a few of these kits so I took another body and cut the end of the hood and fenders off and the glued them to the body where the front bumper was. I cut the front bumper off the grill and fitted it to the body before the new lower panel was glued in place. I had to replicate the upper center grill on the lower part of the grill. I took a second grill unit from the second kit and removed the center grill work from both grill frames and then cut and fitted one upper frame to the missing area of the lower frame. The pictures will make more sense of this.
