2010 Dodge Challenger Coupe SE WIP

I am going to try to convert this RT Challenger to an SE to replicate my own 1:1 ride. I don't think there are any body changes between 2009 and 2010 but I will have to do a few things to convert this to an SE. I am using this AMT kit so that I don't have to deal with the engine and I won't spend any time on the chassis either. There are a few other things to do:

  1. Convert the rectangular outlets for the exhausts to a single half-round outlet on the right side.
  2. Mount the rear unit and fill the holes for the rear spoiler and fill the line in the trunk under where the spoiler would go.
  3. Find a round gas door with a finger lip or carve one out of another body such as an old Camaro or Mustang that I am sure I have around here somewhere.
  4. Score the flat spot in the grill where the R/T decal would go in order to blend it in with the rest of the grill.
  5. Remove the whiskers from the chin spoiler on the front.

i think that will do it but let me know if there is anything else I should consider. I have started on the rear of the car first finding a piece of plastic (I think it came from a 68 Mustang GT 500 AMT kit) that I think had the contour of the rear valance so that I can glue them in and fill the cracks. I have also cut a half-round outlet from the right side. Next, I'll mount the rear panel and fill the trunk holes. I have a can of Mopar Inferno Red from the dealer for paint but painting will be awhile.  Thanks for looking! Cool
