Hi all... I am venturing back into the modeling world after a nearly 20 year hiatus. I've been reading posts on here for awhile and look forward to contributing. But first I need a little help... I've tried to research on using lacquers over enamels, and while it doesn't seem to be recommended, it seems that if the enamel is properly cured, I might be okay. I am working on a '69 Charger and the interior will be white. I want to use a satin/semigloss overcoat to better simulate the vinyl, but when my paint arrived in the mail I was surprised to see that the clear was a lacquer.
Can I paint over the flat white? If so, how long should I let the enamel cure before doing so?
Thanks!
