Been a while since I have posted anything but I have been working on stuff so I thought I would jump in there are share for what it's worth. My current project is this GTX kit that I picked up on ebay a while back. I love MOPAR muscle and have been a little obsessed with them all as of late. It's car show season in my neck of the woods and I have been really enjoying the MOPAR on display already this year. Anyway, the GTX is a real favorite of mine and I decided to get this kit going. I read about a very rare '70 GTX that was found recently with the paint code of 999 which was a custom order and after further inspection of the beat up GTX found that it was EA4 silver metallic so that's my color choice, read more about it here
Going for the dual-quad option with the tunnel ram. Not pictured is my first ever attempt at a wired distro, I am hoping it's not a disaster... the scratched valve cover was unfortunate, an opened but complete kit on ebay...
Here is a mockup with the first primer coat. I have sinced finished bodywork and have two coats of primer. I plan to sand one more time then lay a coat of black that will sit under the silver to (I hope) give it a darker silver look.
Working the B-Body chassis right now and will have pics later, hope you like... go easy on this old man!
