Well it'smy turn to get something done. I chose this one because I like the way they look with a vinyl top. I've never done a vinyl on a build before so I figured I would give it a shot. I searched the forums and thought I would try the masking tape method. I fitted the body with vinyl top moldings using evergreen strips and then used 2" beige masking tape to make the "vinyl". I overlapped the top to what my eyeball though was close to scale looking and it came out great. The tape is thin enough that it really makes a nice seam. I used my trusty #11 to trim.
