Yesterday, it was rumored that the future Lamborghini SUV will be called Urus and today the first leaked images have confirmed that those rumors were indeed true. The concept is set to make its world debut this weekend, but the first images have confirmed most of the things we already know.
The front end is clearly a mark of the Lamborghini brand and it features elements already seen in models like the Aventador and the Sesto Elemento Concept . The concept also features the same red livery as seen in the previously announced Aventador J and the same coupe-like profile as seen on the BMW X6.
There aren’t any details on what engine Lamborghini will place under the hood, but rumors say we will see the same engine found in the Gallardo: a 5.2-liter V10 engine with an output of about 580 HP.
Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann has confirmed that a production version will arrive in 2017.
