After four races, the focus seems to be getting sharper on who are the haves and the have-nots of the 2010 Chase for the Sprint Cup -- and the spotlight is on a familiar target.Four-time champion Jimmie Johnson has again asserted himself as the alpha male of the group, jumping to a 36-point lead on second place Denny Hamlin.
Just two other drivers -- Kevin Harvick in third and Jeff Gordon in fourth -- have managed to stay within 100 points while California race winner Tony Stewart stands 107 points out.
Bbehind them, nothing short of some significant bad luck for the front runners coupled with a stream of top-five runs will allow the drivers sixth or lower to return to contention.
