I recently completed my first chopper kit using some leftover Tamiya Light Blue Metallic spray. I decided to go with the Aces Wild motif, but only used two of the kits decals - I thought that the full array of decals was a little over the top to be honest. I used the standard tank decal on the top and modified one of the side tank decals for use on the rear fender. I like the simplicity of it.
I went with a mix of chromed parts combined with others that were stripped and repainted using my favorite Krylon Matte Aluminum (which has a better chrome silver finish than anything else I've tried). I painted the exhaust Tamiya Metallic Black for contrast. I look forward to building another and maybe customizing it more next time around.
