injection mold

i was watching a show on Leggo the other day and they mentioned the injection molds are worth between 40,000 and 100,000 Euros each. i'd imagine the ones that Revell use for model cars would be much more complex, and they probably need a few for each model. They also need a lot of maintenance to keep them in top condition.

so there's the reason revell/amt don't put out a lot of new stuff.

 

i wish they'd do a show on revell or amt or tamiya, etc!!
