HMMM.The first post seems to have evaporated ,That,s okay . Here,s the gist of it . I discussed all the things to look for and correct on the latest edition of MONOGRAM,S old 58 T-BIRD staple .Sink marks, almost non existant trunk lines etc . I also mentioned the seeming lack of dash detail .The other thing was BE CAREFUL , when taking parts off the trees , there,s a lot of very heavy joints between the parts and trees . Everything still fits like it used to though . I don,t know if the "ELVIRA" car had them , but , All the original edition parts are there albeit in clear instead of tinted green windows and bubble top. The car has stood the test of time fairly well , but , it,s starting to really show it,s age .Now the other"BIRD" mentioned was the latest edition of the 62 T-BIRD. The molding is fairly decent and everything fits reasonably well . I noticed an "UP-TOP (convertible) but , NO hardtop . You can display it as the up-top ,down top and "Roadster version .The hardtop and swingaway steering wheel were in the last of these I built years ago .They are not there now . I changed the fair "wire wheels" with the ones in my parts box from my 63 RIVIERA kit . they look much better .OH , the LINDBERG wires from the 53 CROWN VICKY look good on it too . All in all , a fair pair . Build yours soon . oldcarguy
