Slumpbuster?

I just read the "Bored" topic and I can relate. I'm hitting another slump. My Dodge Dart did not make it to completion because I rushed, screwed up the glass, got angry, and let my anger get the best of me again. I've realized that when I do that, it's because I'm getting angry at my own skills or lack thereof and I need to seriously stop taking it out on innocent model kits.

That said, I'm attempting an ambitious new project - a Revival multimedia (brass, photoetch, and white metal parts) Alfa Romeo P3. The engine is looking good so far (see below).

What I wonder is this - what do you guys do if you hit a slump, screw up a model, or get angry at something. I know that my anger also comes from a less than perfect home life right now, but that's a whole other issue. Model building should be relaxing, it's not good when I let it get to me.

Anyhow, here are some pics of the P3 engine. I'm not worried about the obvious join lines as I can see from pics that these parts of the engine will not be seen once it's installed.
